A Meet and Greet is a 1-hour assessment to ensure your pup feels comfortable with us in the environment we have created, as well as around other dogs. We charge $30 for meet and greets due at the start of the service. This $30 will be credited to your first stay if used within 4 weeks.

Meet and Greets are required for all dogs before their scheduled stay. If your stay is schedule last minute and all times are booked, we charge a $30 waiving fee per dog.

Meet and Greets are held on weekdays (Monday - Friday) at noon and some Saturday mornings depending on availability.

Vaccines must be verified before the Meet and Greet. When you show up with your dog for your scheduled time, please keep your dog leashed while entering the building and in the lobby. We will give you a tour, and then have you leave your pup(s) with us for 45 minutes to an hour to complete our evaluation.

*Sanitized stainless steel bowls are provided for each pet during their stay. Please do not bring bowls, we do not want them mixed up or lost.

Spay/Neuter

Males

Unaltered male dogs under one year of age are allowed to participate in Daycare as long as they are not distracting or disruptive in the pack setting. Males over one year of age must be neutered in order to participate in Daycare and group play.

Females

It is highly recommended that female dogs are spayed over one year of age for boarding. If a female dog begins her heat cycle while at Watch Dog Boarding, she will be isolated and sent home with the emergency contact on file immediately.

Females over one year of age must be spayed to participate in Daycare.

Female dogs in heat under one year are not permitted to return to daycare until 3 weeks after their heat cycle ends.

Female and male dogs may return to group play two weeks after their alteration surgery.

Sickness

We are not permitted to house sick animals. If a dog is to show signs of communicable illness, we are required to contact the owner and send home, or emergency contact on file to pick up. Sick animals are welcome back after being cleared by a veterinarian OR fourteen days after the illness subsides. If dog participating in daycare is displaying signs of loose stool*, they will be sent home for the day and asked not to return until their bowel movements become solid.

*To help prevent this, we advise not introducing your dog to new treats or foods prior to their daycare day.

Vaccinations

Watch Dog Boarding requires up-to-date vaccination records for Bordetella, DHPP (Distemper/Parvo), and Rabies for Boarding,  Daycare and Meet and Greet reservations.

Vaccinations must be administered by a licensed veterinarian.

No exceptions.
